60 Minutes on Whale Sharks September 6, 2007
60 minutes (Australia) this Sunday night (9/9/07) has a story on whale sharks:
It includes the Atlanta Aquarium, which keeps whale sharks (a little unsuccessfully), Paul Watson (Sea Shepherd), Dr Mark Meekan (AIMS) tagging program, and WA’s own Brad Norman plus the ECOCEAN Photo-ID Library.

Whale Shark Googled July 7, 2006
Google Earth is an awesome tool. Sometimes the unexpected happens, like finding a whale shark just off the coast of Western Australia’s Northwest Cape, near Tantabiddi. The image appears to have been acquired in April 2005. To see for yourself check out the placemark.
